It was a successful night for British Breeding as no fewer than four home bred dogs made it into the Category 1 Coral Olympic final at Hove!
In the opening Semi Final, King Turbo (Leamaneigh Turbo – Wee Tiget Tots) paced up to the corner on the inside of Bubbly Bluebird before forcing his way through on the rails. Leading out the 2nd turn he maintained a strong gallop before being caught on the run in by the powerful Bruisers Bullet to claim his spot in the Final.
The second Semi Final saw King Kid (Droopys Scolari – Shaws Dilemma) run out a comfortable winner having avoided trouble at the opening turn. Leading into the first bend he swooped round the outside of the field, and whilst there was trouble on the inside, Kid was left with a solo to cruise round circuit under no pressure. Fellow Brit, Romeo Desperado (Head Bound – Fabulous Pin) overcame the opening bend trouble to run on and claim the second qualifying spot.
