Skate On was crowned the GBGB Best Dam of British Bred for the second year in succession at the GBGB Awards on Sunday evening.

The 2012 William Hill Oaks runner-up and star sprinter for Liz and Rab McNair is the mother of the some of the sport’s best known names with the likes of King Elvis, Queen Anna and Queen Adele. They are all from her October 2015 litter to Tullymurry Act.

Her February 2017 litter to Eden The Kid are starting to make some real progress on the open race scene with the likes of Queen Beyonce, King Nelson, King Dylan and King Sheeran all recording some fine successes in recent months.

The McNair – KSS Syndicate teamed up again to claim second place in the category with Wee Tiger Tots, the dam of King Turbo.
